We will be performing maintenance on our core authentication system (account.otoy.com), ORC (orc.otoy.com), and RNDR (rndr.x.io) from September 15, 2025 20:00 UTC - 24:00 UTC.
During this time, these systems may be down for periods of up to 10 minutes, however we expect that they will be available for the majority of the maintenance period.
Any application (including Octane on your local machine) requiring authentication will be affected by this maintenance.
Further information regarding OctaneRender Authentication during the maintenance period:
To ensure uninterrupted use of OctaneRender during the maintenance period, we recommend you sign out of OctaneRender, then sign in again, less than 48 hours prior to the start of the maintenance period. Once the maintenance period starts, avoid signing out of OctaneRender or switching between different OctaneRender versions. (You will still be able to close and reopen OctaneRender as per normal, as long as you have followed the preparation steps above)
Please note that if your organization uses our "Unattended Authentication" feature, you will be unable to use the workaround above. Instead we recommend that you open OctaneRender at least 15 minutes before the start of the maintenance period, and then avoid closing the application until the maintenance is complete.
